March is Women's History Month—a time to celebrate and reflect on the extraordinary contributions women have made throughout history. At Stories Unseen, we're passionate about bringing these inspiring stories to life through our immersive self-guided tours.
Coinciding with International Women's Day on March 8, we take this opportunity to spotlight women's achievements and acknowledge the historical gaps in how women's contributions have been recognised. When we created our very first tour, the Perth Pub Crawl, we were struck by the stark absence of women's stories in historical archives, building plaques, and memorials. This inspired us to delve deeper and shine a spotlight on these overlooked narratives.
In Perth, our dedicated Enterprising Women Tour explores the resilience, innovation, and courage of pioneering women who overcame significant obstacles. At a time when women were often barred from employment or denied financial independence—unable even to have their own bank accounts—these trailblazing women found creative ways to forge their paths. Discover how their ingenuity and determination shaped Perth’s history and influenced generations.

In Adelaide, our self-guided walking tour highlights notable Women's Firsts, celebrating ground-breaking achievements by women in politics, arts, business, and community leadership. Learn about the remarkable women who broke through barriers, setting new standards and reshaping society.

This Women's History Month, join us in uncovering stories of strength, creativity, and innovation. Explore the legacy left by enterprising women, and be inspired by their extraordinary journeys.
